Batavia
• Marco Martinez, 22, of 417 Ohio St., Aurora, was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and no valid driver's license after an accident at 7:15 a.m. Friday at Kirk Road and Wind Energy Pass, according to a police report.
Kane County
• Joseph M. Jaquez, 23, of 809 Claim St., Aurora, was arrested at 10:49 a.m. Thursday and charged with felony aggravated battery after hitting a man at the Kane County Judicial Center, 37W777 Route 38, St. Charles Township, police said.
• Corey T. Dougherty, 17, of 908 S. Harrison St., Batavia, was arrested at 12:29 a.m. Saturday and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop in St. Charles Township, according to a police report.
• Ryan S. Baum, 22, of 29 N. Dubois Ave., Elgin, was arrested at 12:44 p.m. Saturday and charged with telephone harassment and disorderly conduct after threatening a woman in person and by text message, police said.
• Brian S. Hart, 40, of 44W865 Harter Road, Elburn, was arrested at 6:10 p.m. Friday and charged with improper lane usage, operating an uninsured vehicle and drunken driving after crashing into a ditch and guardrail on Meredith Road, north of Route 38, in Virgil Township. Hart was treated for minor injuries at Delnor-Community Hospital in Geneva. According to a police report, investigators found about 20 empty beer cans in his vehicle.
• Telephone harassment was reported Sunday by a resident at 6N743 Wabash St., St. Charles Township.
• Credit card fraud was reported Monday by a resident at 6N765 Foley Lane, St. Charles Township, after the person's bank card was used to make $758 in purchases.
• A mailbox valued at $100 was damaged Thursday at D & S Auto Sales and Service, 1109 N. Washington St., Blackberry Township.
• Ten dollars, a Motorola phone charger valued at $45 and a $5 tin of chewing tobacco were stolen Friday from a truck at 3N778 Hawthorne Drive, St. Charles Township.
North Aurora
• Alexandria M. Aguiniga, 18, of 534 Pennsylvania Ave., Aurora, was charged with obstructing justice, speeding, no valid driver's license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle after a traffic stop on South Lincolnway near Interstate 88 at 3:50 a.m. Thursday, according to a police report.
St. Charles
• Four people were arrested on felony charges Sunday, one day after they used a stolen credit card to buy $848.41 in items from Kohl's, 3840 E. Main St., police said. Charged with felony counts of retail theft and unlawful use of a credit card were Arica C. Hannus, 17, of 658 Sand Creek Drive, Carol Stream, and Christopher R. Fleming, 22; William D. Fleming, 24; and Joseph A. Farmer, 18, all of 513 S. Carriage Drive Unit 1F, West Chicago, according to a police report. Christopher R. Fleming also was charged with felony forgery, police said. The suspects are scheduled to appear in court Jan. 31.
• Phillip S. Graham, 29, of 4338 W. Warren Ave. Unit 2N, Hillside, was arrested around 8 p.m. Friday and charged with felony retail theft after stealing $314.87 in electronics from Wal-Mart, 150 Smith Road, police said. A felony retail theft charge also was authorized for his companion Shamika S. Chamberlain, 24, of 2127 S. 15th Ave., Broadview, who stole $288.97 in items, according to police.
• Kathleen J. Legan, 38, of 101 S. 17th St. Unit B, was cited Monday for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and driving while license suspended, police said. According to a report, which did not include details of the accident, the charges stemmed from a Jan. 16 crash on the 2000 block of West Main Street. Police said Legan and a passenger were injured in the crash. She is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 21.
