• The Martin Luther King Jr. Breakfast, co-sponsored by Benedictine University and College of DuPage, will be from 8 to 9:30 a.m. today at the Krasa Center at Benedictine, 5700 College Road, Lisle. • The People's Resource Center will host an open house featuring Bernie Kleina's award-winning photographs of King and the civil rights movement. The event will be from 2 to 4 p.m. today at 201 S. • The DuPage County Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration will be at Wheaton College's Edman Memorial Chapel, 401 Franklin St., Wheaton at 6:15 p.m. today. The event is free.
• North Central College will host a prayer breakfast at 7 a.m. today in Centennial Hall at the White Activities Center, 325 E. Benton Ave., Naperville. The event will feature keynote remarks on King's message from Dawn Pleas-Bailey. Pleas-Bailey is a 1990 North Central alumna, longtime women's and youth advocate, and vice president of student affairs at Southwestern College in Kansas. RSVP to (630) 637-5151.
