Try your hand at effective problem solving
Family Service and Community Mental Health Center recently announced the implementation of a new program for adults.
The new program, Taking a Positive Step, or TAPS, involves skill-building services to facilitate more effective problem solving.
TAPS is designed to assist a person's ability to achieve his or her functional, personal, social, educational and vocational goals while at the same time assisting them to better cope with everyday life and achieve and maintain mental wellness.
Ed Rickert, Family Service vice president of Adult Mental Health Services, stated in his announcement of the new program, that in its constant quest to provide quality care to everyone seeking services," the TAPS Program will further enhance the agency's mission to provide services that are guided by the principles of recovery."
