Lincolnwood shepherd training club's newsletter a stand out
Congratulations to Lincolnwood Training Club for German Shepherd Dogs whose newsletter was awarded first place in the German Shepherd Dog Club of America's annual contest for regional club newsletters.
The newsletter has quite a history of placing first and first runner-up since it started competing in the late 1990s. Editor of the club's newsletter, "Tales of Lincolnwood," is Judy Braginsky of Skokie.

Run-Thrus: Northwest Obedience Club will have all- breed Agility Run-Thrus on Jan. 13, 20 and 27 in the training center, 735 Industrial Drive, Cary. Weight circles: Strays Halfway House, P.O. Box 68811, Schaumburg, IL 60168-0811, will be happy to receive the weight circles from your purchases of Purina brand dog and cat foods. The shelter will also welcome expired toner cartridges and cell phones to redeem for cash to fund the organization's supplies and care for homeless animals.
