The shelter also brings a few of its adoptable animals to the PetSmart on Randall Road in Algonquin and to the Petco on Route 14 in Crystal Lake. Contact the shelter for dates and times if you are interested in seeing us there.

Assisi Animal Foundation is featuring these Pets of the Week.

Daisy and Disney: Daisy and sister Disney are adorable boxer mixes about 15 weeks old currently living at the Assisi Animal Foundation's no-kill shelter, Crystal Lake. They were rescued just before being euthanized.

They're extremely affectionate, puppies, and of course are very playful; they'll offer a lifetime of loving companionship for the right home. Call for an appointment to come out to meet them and fall in love.

Volunteers welcome: The Assisi Foundation rescues animals and provides quality care while they await their new homes. The AAF recently was able to take in survivors from a tragic fire at a county pound in Franklin County, all of whom need homes after the terrible experience they survived.
