Meet to preserve Glen Ellyn
The Citizens for Glen Ellyn Preservation will meet at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 3 at Faith Lutheran Church, 41 N. Park Blvd, Glen Ellyn. Those attending should enter through the rear door of the northeast corner of the building. The meeting is open to all interested in preserving the character, history and architectural integrity of Glen Ellyn. Yoga enthusiast Ketki Shah will present a yoga exercise program from 1 to 2 p.m. Jan. 5 at the Glenside Public Library, 25 E. Fullerton Ave., Glendale Heights. Pancake breakfast benefits veterans

Carol Stream voter registration open
The Carol Stream Public Library will accept voter registration for the Illinois General Primary Election until Jan. 8 at the library, 616 Hiawatha Drive, Carol Stream. Voters must be a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years old, live in their election precinct at least 30 days before the election, can not be convicted and in jail or claim the right to vote anywhere else.
