Huntley tops CL South; EA wins
Huntley 36, CL South 32: Trailing at the half, Huntley (6-2) put up double-digit scoring in both the third and fourth quarters to record this come-from-behind victory in Fox Valley Crossover action. Daisy Jara led the offense with 17 points shooting 6-for-8 from the field.
For the Gators (6-4), Carly Juliano led the way with 8 points. Jessica Taldone added 7 points, and Katie Burton contributed with 6 points.
Elgin Academy 48, Francis Parker 17: Bianca Swegler scored 12 points and Alyssa Pena 10 as Elgin Academy (4-7, 1-3) won its first Independent League game of the season.
Prairie Ridge 52, Woodstock 51: Emily Murphy scored 17 points and Shannon Henelly added 10 as PR (5-6) upended Woodstock (7-4) in a Fox Valley Conference crossover game.
