Faith in Action of McHenry County

Faith in Action of McHenry County is hosting its annual open house today at its offices, 7105 Virginia Road, Suite 21, Crystal Lake.

Refreshments, door prizes, volunteer recognition and a kick off of its 10th anniversary celebration will all take place at the event.

Faith in Action is a local nonprofit organization that provides volunteer services to help support independent living for residents of McHenry County ages 62 and older who live in their homes or with loved ones.

Services are provided at no charge and include transportation, shopping, visits, respite for caretakers, light housekeeping and light yard cleanup.

Proceeds from the pasta dinner fundraiser will help Faith in Action continue to provide these services to area residents.
