Briefs: Man robbed at gunpoint
Schaumburg police were continuing their search Friday for a man who robbed another man at gunpoint. Police said the victim was in a parking lot on the 900 block of East Golf Road and about to open up his car door around 2:30 p.m. Thursday when he was approached by a man who stuck a gun in his back. The man had the victim get in the car then walked to the passenger's side and got in himself. Police said he then displayed a handgun and demanded money. The robber took $2,000 from the man's wallet and then fled the area in a waiting maroon Cadillac. The victim was not injured. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Schaumburg Police Department at (847) 882-3534.

Hanover Park limits RVs
Hanover Park residents are now limited to parking just one recreational vehicle in their driveways. Multiple complaints, which have been generated mostly from aesthetic concerns, prompted the village board to vote Thursday on the issue. Other restrictions were informally discussed, such as limiting RVs to the summer season like Bartlett does or implementing size regulations, but trustees agreed they were comfortable with only the one-vehicle limit at this time.
