Storm Madness set for tonight

The South Elgin boys basketball program will host Storm Madness tonight in the high school gym at 7 p.m.

In addition to scrimmages between the Storm's 2007-08 teams, there will be a seniors vs. faculty game and a shootout contest with a $100 prize.

Girls basketball

Crystal Lake South 48, Regina 44: Crystal Lake South scored a win over Regina Dominican at the Buffalo Grove Thanksgiving Tournament. Jessica Taldone led the way for the Gators collecting 13 points with three 3-pointers.. Carly Juliano had 12 points and Catie Burton also contributed 10 points to the Crystal Lake South victory.

Prairie Ridge 41, Vernon Hills 34: Shannon Hennelly scored 8 points and Julie Schwartz added 7 to lead a balanced Prairie Ridge attack as the Wolves (1-2) won for the first time this season at the Mundelein tournament.
