Briefs: Renovations start at Antioch bank

McHENRY -- Prime Commercial Corp. has begun a major renovation project for the Antioch branch of State Bank of the Lakes, 440 Lake St. A welcoming new interior, and a newly designed Prairie-style façade will enhance the exterior of the 37,000-square-foot building. The bank also will benefit from a new eco-friendly heating and cooling system. Tom Burroughs, Prime Commercial project manager, said completion for this multi-phased project is in June.

CDW-G designs solution for college

VERNON HILLS -- CDW Government Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of CDW Corp., said it designed and implemented a comprehensive voice and data system for Voorhees College in Denmark, S.C. Deployed in three phases, the system enables the college to increase bandwidth, implement distance learning programs and bring 9-1-1 services to the campus. The final stage of the project focused on providing emergency call support.
