• Chicago White Sox pitching coach Don Cooper will host a free pitching clinic for youth baseball coaches from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Bulls/Sox Training Academy in Lisle. Space is limited. To register, visit www.BullsSoxAcademy.com and click on the Don Cooper Free Coaches Clinic.
• Chicago White Sox pitching coach Don Cooper will conduct two pitching and catching camps for youth and high school players this winter at the Bulls/Sox Training Academy in Lisle.
A camp for ages 7 to 12 will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 8-9, while ages 13 to 18 will meet from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Feb. 9-10.

• The Carol Stream Storm U-16 Red girls travel softball team will hold its Storm Chasers Road Rally from 5:30 to 11:30 p.m. Nov. 10 in Bloomingdale. The road rally is similar to the television show "The Amazing Race."
The cost is $10 per person. All participants younger than 17 must have a waiver signed by a parent to participate. All proceeds will benefit the Storm softball team.

• The DuPage Training Academy in Carol Stream will offer its second annual Baseball Offensive Skills Sessions with a former White Sox organization player.
Session one will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday to Nov. 29 for ages 13 and older. The cost is $200 per player or $190 per player for teams of five or more. The camp will work on all areas of the offensive game.

Basketball
• Benet Academy girls and boys basketball coaches will host a clinic for all youth basketball coaches from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday in the Benet Gymnasium in Lisle.
The clinic will be for grammar school, YMCA and travel team coaches. The cost is $10 per coach or $25 per school. Checks should be made out to Benet Academy.

• Tryouts for the Future Rams Feeder Program will be held in November at the Glenbard East High School fieldhouse.
Tryouts for grades 5-6 will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Nov. 6 and Nov. 8. Tryouts for grades 7-8 will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Nov. 27 and Nov. 29. Teams at each grade level will play a competitive schedule of 25-30 games against other high school feeder programs.

• Al Biancalana's Basketball Academy will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at York High School in Elmhurst.
The camp is open to boys in fifth through eighth grades. Instruction will be provided by York varsity head coach Al Biancalana and his coaching staff, as well as members of the York varsity team.
The cost is $50 per camper, $40 per camper if there is more than one from a family.
