Crystal Lake Toastmasters win two prizes in Chicago-area contest

Representing the Crystal Clear Toastmasters club, members Linda Gaska of Crystal Lake and Ken Tentler of Lake in the Hills competed in the recent District 30 Chicagoland-Northwest Area 1 Evaluation Contest and Humorous Speech Contest.

Gaska took third place in the Evaluation Contest with a fair and helpful assessment of a presentation by a guest speaker.

Ken Tentler came in third in the Humorous Speech Contest, with an amusing ramble on the uncertainties of bachelorhood.
