Listen to the stars at MCC class

Learn to listen when the stars speak. Discover what current trends are influencing your life now.

These topics will be explored in a one-day astrology class offered by the McHenry County College Continuing Education Department. The entertaining and educational class will meet from 1 to 4 p.m. Oct. 21 in room A103 at MCC.

The class will focus on giving participants an understanding of the basics of astrology.

MCCD wants input on district plans

McHenry County Conservation District Board wants input from residents on their recreational needs by offering an online survey linked to the District's Web site at www.MCCDistrict.org.

The MCCD continues its community workshops where the public can join in a focus group type setting and share their views and opinions.

Remaining workshops are scheduled from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

• Wednesday: Prairieview Education Center, 2112 Behan Road, Crystal Lake.
