Hoping suggestions don't become reality

What a vitriolic message sent in the letter by Tom Jones.

He scoffed at the ideas of presidential candidate John Edwards, including Edwards' stand on health care for all, education for young pre-schoolers, better pay for teachers and health screening for the poor.

He sounds like a very, very self centered person. He scoffs at wanting to end tax cuts for the rich, making me suggest he must be one of those rich. And, of course he doesn't want the slaughter of our young fighters to end, suggesting he doesn't have someone in his family fighting, dying or being wounded, and doesn't care for those who do.

Does he have any belief in caring for others? I'm hoping that we don't go along with his ideas.
