Senior housing program a bad deal

To the editor: What's the big deal about Rolling Meadows senior housing program?

You can find all kinds of condos in Arlington, Mount Prospect and Rolling Meadows for the prices mentioned and without a subsidized program. Also, you are not subjected to the required qualifications.

Then, too, when you go to sell there aren't any restrictions. Finally, who gets the $30,000 of Rolling Meadows' taxpayers money (from the tax-increment financing district)? The builder? This is a poor and expensive program.
