Evening of magic, music to benefit food pantry

The Crystal Lake Food Pantry is celebrating its 25-year anniversary on Sept. 25.

The benefit evening starts at 5 p.m. at D'Andrea's Banquets, 4419 W. Northwest Hwy. in Crystal Lake with dinner, entertainment and a surprise.

With local vocalist John McCall, magicians Don Bozworth and Kevin Sarnwick, instrumentals by members of the McHenry County Youth Orchestra, colorful dancers and Rick Cornwall as the DJ, the event is sure to be an enjoyable night out.

There will be a brief presentation of the food pantry's history, and food-pantry statistics will be shared.

A variety of filled, miniature shopping carts from various merchants, individuals and banks will be silent auctioned and several pieces of fine jewelry will be raffled.

All proceeds from this event will benefit the Food Pantry.
