Focus on every precious moment
Have you ever been in a conversation with someone and wake up to realize that they're asking you a question and you haven't heard a thing they've said? How about driving home on auto pilot while your mind is racing with those million things you have to do. Suddenly you look around and you're not quite sure where you are. It's the same route you drive every day yet buildings are being erected, new signs and roads are being constructed and you're seeing them for the first time! An awakening moment and a very scary thought imagining what you might have missed. You're standing still but the world and time stops for no one.
Give your full attention to what is happening right now. Don't allow your mind to wander down the road of no return. When Sunday evening comes and thoughts of work start creeping into your head, stop, look around and snap back to reality. Be in the moment. When someone talks to you, focus on them and make them first priority. Be in the moment. When you're at home and spending time with family, focus on them. Be in the moment.
Focusing on now, will allow you to enjoy life more fully. Living for today and not for what may be, will keep you relaxed and centered.
