Man nabbed in Addison drug bust
A Hanover Park man remained in jail Thursday on a $1 million bond after police said they discovered a large cache of drugs in his Addison business.
Authorities arrested Raymond W. Sikocinski, 20, 1941 Hollywood Ave., late Wednesday after they said a search of his car-stereo business netted $110,000 worth of drugs and cash.
The DuPage County sheriff's tactical narcotics team had been investigating Sikocinski for about a month during an undercover sting. Officers said they found 416 grams of cocaine, 638 grams of marijuana and nearly $60,000 cash at Rayco Services, 401 Irmen, Unit C., in Addison.
Detectives also seized a 2001 GMC SUV and 2001 Chevrolet pickup truck that they allege were tied to the illegal drug activity. Police from Addison, Elmhurst and Wood Dale assisted.
Sikocinski is due in court Oct. 15.
