Grayslake

•Salvadore Nunez, 21, 1418 Cherokee Drive, Round Lake, was arrested Aug. 18 and charged with possession of marijuana and driving under the influence of alcohol after an officer stopped his car for traffic violations at routes 83 and 137, police said. A court date was not available.

Gurnee

•Thieves stole two cell phones, car keys, wallet and driver's license around 6 p.m. Aug. 16 from a 13-year-old girl and 16-year-old boy at Six Flags Great America, 1 Six Flags Parkway, police said. Total value was estimated at $650.

•A motorist in a green van drove over the grass and hit a tree around 12:30 p.m. Aug. 19 in Ravinia Park, 985 Ravinia Drive, police said. A damage estimate was not available.

Lake Zurich

•Vandals spray painted graffiti Aug. 17 on an asphalt and wooden walkway on the 300 block of Lions Drive and on traffic signs on Honey Lake Road, police said. Damage estimates were not available.

Lincolnshire

•A semi-trailer was reported stolen about 8:35 a.m. from the 500 block of Industrial Drive. Police are investigating.

•A window was smashed and a stereo reported taken from a car parked in the 500 block of Barclay Boulevard at about 2:28 a.m. Aug. 24. Police are investigating.

Round Lake

•Walter R. Lang, 28, 35012 Ingleside Drive, Ingleside, was arrested around 12:10 a.m. Aug. 11 and charged with obstructing justice after an officer was called to MacGillis and Treehouse for a disturbance and saw Lang drive away; the officer stopped his car, and he gave the officer a false name, police said. His Waukegan court date was set for Sept. 8.

Round Lake Beach

•Vandals drove over three mailboxes overnight Aug. 11-12 on the 500 block of West Golfview and 1600 block of Lotus, police said. Damage estimates were not available.

Vernon Hills

•Steven L. Collins, 47, 1416 W. 78th St., Chicago, was arrested Aug. 13 and charged with retail theft after a security agent for Best Buy, 701 N. Milwaukee Ave., saw him take merchandise valued at $260 and leave without paying, police said. A court date was not available.

Wauconda

•Vandals smashed a mailbox Aug. 21 at an apartment on the 600 block of East Liberty Street, police said. A damage estimate was not available.
