Antioch

•Thieves cut down and stole a volleyball net between 10 a.m. Aug. 18 and 5 p.m. Aug. 20 at the Honey Bee Restaurant, 38796 Drexel Blvd., police said. Value was estimated at $240.

Grayslake

•Brian Haseltine, 27, 2 Junior Ave., Grayslake, was arrested Aug. 10 and charged with sexual exploitation of a child and public indecency after he was accused of exposing himself to teenage girls on two separate occasions in August 2006 and Aug. 10 this year, police said. The incident in 2006 occurred around 2:45 p.m. on Harvey Street, reports said. The girls gave officers a license plate number, but it was not the correct one, reports added. This time, he was accused of parking his car on the 100 block of Parker Drive and exposing himself as three girls walked by around 7 p.m. Aug. 10, reports said. Officers used the license plate number the teens noticed on his car to find Haseltine at his home, reports added. His Waukegan court date was set for Aug. 31.

Gurnee

•Thieves stole a black 1997 Volkswagen Jetta (plate number: 5509994) around 9 p.m. Aug. 15 parked in an apartment lot on the 6700 block of Derby Drive, police said. A value estimate was not available.

•Vandals spray painted graffiti with orange paint Aug. 15 on the Morris Field sign belonging to the Gurnee school district and located at White Oak Court and Washington Street, police said. Damage was estimated at $100.

•Nairobi R. Gibson, 32, 555 Lorraine St., Waukegan, was arrested around 3:40 a.m. Aug. 18 and charged with local ordinance public indecency after he was found naked and knocking on room doors on the second floor of a hotel on the 5400 block of Route 132, police said. A court date was not available.

•Vandals pulled a gold trophy sign (given to the Warren High School varsity tennis club for the 2006 fourth-place rating it received at the Illinois state tennis championships) from a fence between 3:30 and 6:40 p.m. Aug. 12 at the tennis courts and dropped it on the front steps at the main entrance to the high school, 34090 Almond Road, police said. A second sign, Dennis Nevolo, All American" (a Warren High School tennis player), was partially removed from the fence, reports added. Two trash cans were knocked over, reports said. A damage estimate was not available.

•Calbert A. Vaguilla, 17, 36553 Grandwood Drive, Gurnee, was arrested around 11:10 p.m. Aug. 10 and charged with possession of marijuana after an officer on patrol saw him standing at the corner of Grandwood and Oakwood drives and found marijuana in his bag, police said. A court date was not available.

Hawthorn Woods

•A girl riding her bicycle around 5:40 p.m. Aug. 13 saw a man wearing only a blue T-shirt standing near the intersection of Brierwoods and Tanglewood, police said. He disappeared before officers arrived, reports added. He was described in his 30s and heavy set, reports said.

Ingleside

•Vandals punctured two tires on a 1989 Vanguard trailer on an unknown date but reported Aug. 19 at a home on the 27100 block of Longwood Drive, police said. Damage was estimated at $374.

Lake Villa

•Thieves stole a satellite TV dish receiver between Aug. 13 and 15 off its pole at a home on the 18700 block of Wildflower Lane, police said. Value was estimated at $100.

Lake Zurich

•Vandals kicked in a service door and burned the siding on a garage around 11 a.m. Aug. 15 on the 100 block of Robertson Road, police said. Damage was estimated at $200.

Libertyville

•Steven M. Yahya, 41, 6455 N. Bell St., Libertyville, was arrested around 11:25 a.m. Aug. 18 and charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct after a confrontation at Condell Medical Center, 801 S. Milwaukee Ave., police said. According to reports, he was being treated in the emergency room for a fall; he demanded pain medication but it was refused because he had alcohol in his system, reports said. He was accused of swearing at the nurses and standing up, causing the IV needle to pull from his arm and his blood to splatter on the nurses and on the floor, reports added. He was accused of threatening them and shaking his fists and arms at them, reports said. His Waukegan court date was set for Sept. 10.

Mundelein

•Vandals burned the front dashboard on a 1999 Chevrolet van Aug. 18 at a home on the 28700 block of Lemon Road, police said. Damage was estimated over $500.

Round Lake

•Vandals tore down two deer stands installed in trees on an unknown date but reported Aug. 16 in a wooded area on the 33900 block of Fairfield Road, police said. The victim noticed the damage Aug. 5, reports added. Damage was estimated at $300.

Round Lake Beach

•Burglars stole jewelry, a GPS unit and loose change overnight Aug. 8-9 out of a 2000 Chevrolet van parked on the 1100 block of Hendee Lane, police said. A value estimate was not available.

•Wayne C. Basica, 59, 1123 Cedar Lake Road, Round Lake Beach, was arrested around 12:10 a.m. Aug. 10 and charged with battery. He is accused of striking a customer in the face during an argument at a tavern on the 1100 block of Cedar Lake Road, police said. His Waukegan court date was not available.

•Nicholas M. Collori, 18, 24581 Brorson Ave., Round Lake, was arrested around 8 p.m. Aug. 10 and charged with possession of marijuana after an officer stopped his car for a traffic violation at Cherokee and Morningside drives, police said. A court date was not available.

•Vandals scratched a car overnight Aug. 9-10 parked at a home on the 1900 block of Nicole Lane, police said. A damage estimate was not available.

•Victoria Platt, 50, 402 Wellington Court, Lake Villa, was arrested around 2:55 p.m. Aug. 10 and charged with retail theft. She is accused of taking merchandise and leaving without paying from Kohl's, 230 E. Rollins Road, police said. A court date was not available.

Vernon Hills

•Alain Nsoga, 27, 213 N. Southport Road, Mundelein, was arrested Aug. 12 and charged with battery after he was accused of slapping a soccer referee on athletic fields on the 300 block of South Nike Parkway, police said. His Waukegan court date was set for Oct. 4.

Volo

•Burglars stole a power drill, two power saws and a battery charger with three batteries between 5 p.m. Aug. 12 and 7 p.m. Aug. 13 out of a 2000 Ford pickup truck parked at a home on the 300 block of Terra Springs Circle, police said. A value estimate was not available.

Wauconda

•Vandals smashed a mailbox overnight Aug. 14-15 and destroyed the newspaper box on the mailbox between 10 p.m. Aug. 15 and 5:30 a.m. Aug. 16 at a home on the 27300 block of May Street, police said. Damage was estimated at $50.
