With 21 years of experience, William Weaver has joined CDW Corp., Vernon Hills, as group vice president, medium and large segment sales. Weaver most recently served as vice president, U.S. enterprise sales, for Hewlett-Packard's technology solutions group.

Baxter International Inc. in Deerfield elected Wayne T. Hockmeyer to serve as a member of its board of directors, effective in September. Hockmeyer founded MedImmune Inc. and served as its chief executive officer from 1988 to 2000. He then became chairman and president of MedImmune Ventures Inc. until it was acquired by AstraZeneca.

Francesco Milioto was selected music director and conductor for the Skokie Valley Orchestral Association. The orchestra performs at the North Shore Performing Arts Center in Skokie.

The Illinois Bankers Association appointed Michael J. Carlino to its 2007-08 government relations committee. Carlino is president and chief operating officer of Cambridge Bank in Lake Zurich. As a member of the committee, he will formulate the association's state and federal legislative and regulatory policy initiatives for the association's board of directors and review and advise the association on banking-related proposals initiated by other organizations.

Donald H. Wilson was appointed president and chief operating officer of Amcore Financial Inc. Wilson previously held the position of chief financial officer.

Sue Stanczak of Lakemoor was elected president of the Hawthorn Woods Women's Club for 2007-08. Stanczak, a Realtor with Prudential in Lake Zurich, joined the club in 2005 and has served as public relations director and vice president.

Edens Bank, Wilmette, named James Soukoulis senior vice president of business development, to focus on commercial lending. Soukoulis, who has more than 20 years of banking industry experience, is also the owner and president of American Mortgage and Real Estate Services Inc.
