Grayslake

•Kelly Lynn Gagin, 19, 435 Hampshire Court, Grayslake, was arrested Aug. 14 and charged with illegal transportation of alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under the influence of alcohol after an officer stopped her car for traffic violations at Route 120 and Lincoln Avenue, police said. Her Waukegan court date was set for Sept. 11.

Gurnee

•Burglars stole a digital camera, backpack and eight DVDs around 7 p.m. Aug. 15 out of a 2006 Dodge parked at Six Flags Great America, 1 Six Flags Parkway, police said. Value was estimated at $400.

•Chadd E. Bailey, 17, 6867 Chesapeake Court, Gurnee, was arrested around 8 p.m. Aug. 17 and charged with retail theft and unlawful possession and consumption of alcohol after a security agent for Dominick's, 6655 Route 132, saw him take two bottles of liquor valued at $30 and leave without paying, police said. Officers discovered that he had been drinking alcohol, reports added. A court date was not available.

Hawthorn Woods

•Shawn T. Drake, 29, 312 Deberry Drive, Lake Zurich, was arrested around 11 p.m. Aug. 12 and charged with battery after he knocked a 24-year-old man to the ground and punched him in the head several times at a party on the 0-100 block of Cambridge Drive, police said. A Waukegan court date was set for Sept. 19.

Lake Zurich

•James A. Valenzuela, 27, 628 Tamarack Drive, Wauconda, was arrested around 3:30 p.m. Aug. 14 and charged with felony retail theft after a security agent for Dominick's, 345 S. Rand Road, saw him take cans of baby formula and bottles of alcohol and leave without paying, police said. Value was estimated at more than $300. A court date was not available.

Libertyville

•Matthew R. Zaborowski, 20, 610 S. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville, was arrested around 5 p.m. Aug. 13 and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after an officer stopped his car for traffic violations at Hulburt Court and North Fourth and found marijuana and a drug pipe in the car, police said. His court date was set for Sept. 5.

Round Lake

•Victor P. Regalado, 35, 24722 W. Passavant Ave., Round Lake, and Modesto Martinez-Flores, 29, 24730 W. Passavant Ave., Round Lake, were arrested around 9:55 p.m. Aug. 7 and charged with possession of a controlled substance after an officer stopped their car for traffic violations at Route 134 and Fairfield Road and found cocaine in the car, police said. Their Waukegan court date was set for Sept. 10.

Round Lake Beach

•William A. Kerr, 22, 114 Beachview Drive, Round Lake Beach, was arrested around 6:50 p.m. Aug. 9 and charged with disorderly conduct after he caused a disturbance on the 1000 block of Lakeshore Drive, police said. A Round Lake Beach court date was not available.

•Andres R. Saucedo, 17, 321 W. Rollins Road, Round Lake Beach, was arrested around 6:25 p.m. Aug. 9 and charged with battery after he sprayed pepper spray on a victim on Golfview, police said. A court date was not available.

•Burglars stole $80 and 20 CDs overnight Aug. 8-9 out of a 2005 Chevrolet truck and 2003 Hyundai locked and parked at a home on the 0-100 block of North Channel Drive, police said. Value of the CDs was not available.

Vernon Hills

•Nicole L. Pietras, 18, and Edna G. Volakis, 18, both of 524 Kirkwood, Winthrop Harbor, was arrested Aug. 11 and charged with retail theft after a security agent for Sears in Westfield Hawthorn saw them take merchandise valued at $113 and leave without paying, police said. Their Mundelein court date was set for Aug. 27.

Wauconda

•Vandals slashed tires overnight Aug. 10-11 on two vehicles parked at a home on the 600 block of Lake Shore Boulevard, police said. A damage estimate was not available.
