Geneva

•Two canisters of assorted coins were stolen between 3:30 a.m. and 1:20 p.m. Tuesday after someone broke into a residence in the 0-99 block of Garfield Drive, police said.

•Two windows at Walter E. Smithe, 1725 S. Randall Road, were broken between 11 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday, causing $400 damage, reports said.

Kane County

•A St. Charles man was in fair condition at Delnor-Community Hospital Friday after he was hit by a car while riding his bicycle on Beith Road in Campton Township at 6:50 a.m. Thursday. William A. Spence, 44, 40W434 Taylor Caldwell St., was riding on the 42W 0-99 block when Raul M. Namie, 25, 42W075 Beith Road, Elburn, hit him while turning into his driveway, according to a police report. Namie was cited for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

•A $200 cell phone was stolen from a vehicle parked on the 6N400 block of Brierwood Drive in Campton Township between 6 p.m. Wednesday and 8 a.m. Thursday.

•David L. Bull, 47, of Oregon, Ill., was taken to Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin after a one-car crash on Plank Road near Russell Road in Plato Township at 7:26 a.m. Thursday, according to a police report. Bull told police he lost control of his car going around a turn on the wet pavement, slid off the road and hit a tree.

St. Charles

•A resident on the 1700 block of Allen Lane reported Thursday his credit card was fraudulently used to buy a $40.70 lunch at Chili's, 3795 E. Main St.

•Two doors valued at $500 were reported damaged Wednesday by a pellet or BB gun at Wredling Middle School, 1200 Dunham Road.

•Battery was reported at 1:26 a.m. Thursday after a woman was shoved by another woman at the Filling Station, 300 W. Main St.

•Susan L. Colwell, 58, of 795 Rosedale Ave., Roselle, was cited Sunday for leaving the scene of an accident after hitting a parked car at Wal-Mart, 150 Smith Road, police said.
