Residents of GreenFields of Geneva hit the slopes

Putting their own spin on the Winter Olympics, five people, ages 80-87, relived one of their most cherished childhood memories last week.

The residents of GreenFields of Geneva retirement community hit the slopes at Villa Olivia for a fun night of snow tubing.

"The only thing we broke while snow tubing at Villa Olivia was the record for the oldest tubers on the hill!," said Emily Abrahamson, life enrichment coordinator at GreenFields. "We were told that prior to this, the oldest people to have gone snow tubing there were about 75. Our youngest resident was 80 and they all can't wait to go back next year for more fun."
