Midwestern University Student Receives Award

Roselle resident, Megan VanDuyne was honored at the 27th Annual Celebration last Saturday, May 20.2017. She received the Virginia Wagner Educational Grant for a woman pursuing a BA, MA or PhD. Megan was awarded the Grant by Soroptimist International of Suburban Chicago.

Megan currently attends Midwestern University: Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Downers Grove, IL. She will graduate in 2018 and would like to become a Pediatric Emergency Physician.

Soroptimists strive to improve the lives of women and girls in the local area and globally through programs leading to social and economic empowerment. Soroptimist International of Suburban Chicago offers several Grants/Awards for women and girls.
