Flavors of Greece fest returns May 19-21

St. Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church in Aurora invites the community to its annual Flavors of Greece spring festival from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 19; noon to 9 p.m. Saturday, May 20; and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 21, at the church, 1855 E. Fifth Ave. Admission is free.

New this year is a drive-through.

It will feature Greek food, pastries, and music.

The menu includes: souvlakia and gyros combo for $12; souvlakia for $10; chicken, moussaka, or pastichio for $9 each; gyros or veggie plate for $8 each; Greek salad for $7; or saganaki for $6. This includes rice, small salad and a dinner roll. Add chicken or gyros for $1.50.

A kids meal with hot dog or chicken nuggets, chips and fruit cup is $6.

Pastries include baklava, galaktoboureko, loukoumathes, kourambiethes and more.
