Grace Lutheran to host Spring Rummage/Estate Sale May 5-6

Members of Grace Lutheran Church of Lily Lake will host its annual Spring Rummage/Estate Sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, May 5, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 6.

For the past several years, the church has held semiannual sales in May and November which have been very well attended by many in the community. A plus has been the favorable weather for venturing out to find your treasure.

With the help of overwhelming donations from members' homes and others who are downsizing, these events have proved to be successful fundraisers each year - while helping others with their own "spring cleaning."

If you are unfamiliar with Lily Lake, you can find the church just north of crossroads at routes 64 and 47.

There are many household items for everyone's use - for your kitchen, bedroom, living room, many furniture items, seasonal decorations, tools.

There will be a half-price sale of most items, including furniture, starting at noon Saturday. Many items are $1 and the popular "Fill-A-Bag for $5" with clothing, also will be held.

A portion of the proceeds will help offset costs for a new parish house roof and toward the El Salvador mission trip that several Grace members attend.
