Get in your order for third annual Mother's Day Garden Market
The Ladies Auxiliary of the St. Charles Knights of Columbus Council 12497 will host its third annual Mother's Day Garden Market.
It will be held from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 13, on St. Patrick's parish grounds, 6N487 Crane Road, between Bolcum and Silver Glen roads in St. Charles.
In addition to tables full of hundreds of perennials donated by friends from their local gardens, the event has expanded to include online ordering of annuals (see website below), a Yard Art area, and a new "Kids Section."
More than 350 selections of flats and baskets of annuals for Mother's Day can be ordered online until Monday, May 7, for pickup on Saturday, May 13, at the market. Herbs and vegetables are also available.
The Yard Art section will have loads of decorative glass art, clay pot art, bird houses and feeders, outdoor painted chair art, and a host of other outdoor decorations.
At the Kid's Section, kids can make up Mother's Day gifts with painted jars and vases that can be decorated with small flowers and stickers or put together other crafts like wood bird house kits.
