Berkshire Ballet Theatre to present 'Feathers and Fouettés'

See 36 ethereal classical ballet dancers soaring in unison in white tutus to the moving music from Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake" at 3 and 6 p.m. Saturday, March 18, at Prairie Ridge High School, 6000 Dvorak Drive in Crystal Lake.

The Berkshire Ballet Theatre will present "Feathers and Fouettés," featuring some of the most famous excerpts from this virtuosic ballet. For those audience members who are drawn more toward contemporary and jazz styles, the program also will feature five new works choreographed by Summers Academy of Dance professional faculty.

This program has something for everyone including the jaw dropping, breathtaking corps de ballet of 36 graceful Swans moving as one throughout the intricate and demanding choreography.
