Understand the difference between Alzheimer's, dementia, forgetfulness

Centegra Health System will offer a free lecture in April to provide the community opportunities for learning about all matters of memory. Dr. Lindsay Esch, an internal medicine specialist with Centegra Physician Care, presents "The Difference Between Alzheimer's, Dementia and Forgetfulness" from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 21, at Centegra Health Bridge Fitness Center-Huntley, 10450 Algonquin Road.

One in three seniors dies with Alzheimer's disease or another type of dementia so it's important to know the warning signs and when to get assistance. Each will explain the signs and symptoms of Alzheimer's disease, treatment options and prognosis. Anybody worried about memory loss for himself or a loved one is encouraged to reserve a spot today.
