Dundee Lions donate to Boys and Girls Club

Dundee Township Lions donated recent profits from their concessions and 50/50 raffle at "Concerts in the Park" to the Boys and Girls Club of Dundee Township.

Dundee Lion member Ernie Gamino gave a check for $500 to Curt McReynolds, executive director of the Boys and Girls Club.

Gamino noted the Lions have raised more than $2,000 at the summer concerts to give to various community charities. The last concert is Friday, Aug. 7, at Grafelman Park, off Main Street in West Dundee. Mason Rivers will cover the best of today's country as well as your favorite classics from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

The club thanks the community for their generosity.

Gamino also says, aside from the profits for charity, the Lions enjoy providing concessions at a nominal price to help families have a great evening of entertainment for a modest price.
