McHenry Co. board chairman names members of task force for township consolidation

McHenry County Board Chairman Joseph Gottemoller recently announced the members of the newly created Task Force for Township Consolidation.

The task force is comprised of county board members, a township supervisor, and township trustee.

They represent five townships of McHenry County. The township supervisor was nominated by the Township Supervisors Association. The township trustee is a petitioner from the McHenry County Citizens for Township Consolidation. The task force is chaired by McHenry County Board member Carolyn Schofield.

Members of the Task Force for Township Consolidation are:

• Donna Kurtz, McHenry County Board member, District 2, Algonquin Township, (815) 788-0632

• Roger Naylor, Coral Township supervisor, Coral Township, (847) 514-0393.
