Incendio to play at 'Moonlight and Music' concert

Enjoy an evening of live entertainment, gourmet food and raffle prizes in a Ravinia-like setting.

The fifth annual "Moonlight and Music" will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 19, at Crystal Lake Country Club. The event will benefit Pioneer Center for Human Services.

Music begins at 6:30 p.m. with the gourmet cookout dinner open from 6:45 to 8:15 p.m.

Lt. Gov. Evelyn Sanguinetti will present the Make Change Award to Marlene Guthrie at 7:45 p.m. Mission Moment will be at 8 p.m. and live entertainment continues from 8:15 to 10 p.m.

"This is a wonderful opportunity for the community to celebrate summer while supporting the valuable programs and services Pioneer Center offers our community," said Erin Kelly, event chairwoman and Pioneer Center Auxiliary member.

Back by popular demand will be the critically acclaimed California band Incendio, which is Spanish for "fire." To hear samples of their music, visit www.incedioband.com.

The gourmet dinner offers plenty of choices, ranging from herb roasted chicken and chili rubbed pork loin, to a full salad bar with fresh summer fruit. A chef-scooped ice cream station with cookies follows the feast.

The event is casual dress. Lawn chairs will be provided, as well as access to a full cash bar. Outside food and beverage is prohibited. The event is rain or shine with no refunds. Join them after sunset for the After Party, courtesy of Bulk Lift International.

Moonlight raffle drawings will be held at 9 p.m. Raffle tickets are $20 or six for $100.

Raffle prizes offer many luxury items including time shares and weekend stays at a variety of locations, a party for up to 20 with food and drinks at an Arlington Racetrack executive suite, regular season and skybox tickets to Bears, Cubs, and Sox games, and much more.

Pioneer Center for Human Services is a 501(c)3, nonprofit charitable organization that provides direct services to more than 4,800 individuals. The organization also provides education and outreach to schools and community organizations reaching more than 10,000 additional individuals. Programs include behavioral health services and counseling, McHenry County PADS, and services for intellectual and development disabilities.
