CCU Introduces Two New Members of Their Executive Team

Waukegan, IL, May 5, 2015: Consumers Credit Union (CCU; $660 Million, Waukegan, IL) recently introduced two new Members of the credit union's executive team. Bonny Thomas, formerly VISA Director at the Member-owned credit union, is now the Vice President of Payments, a new position at CCU, while Dave Valentine is the new Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

Bonny Thomas has 15+ years' experience in the financial services industry. In addition to her role as Director of VISA, she was a Member Service Representative for several years, working hand-in-hand with Members. Bonny also has management experience, having served as Counter Service Manager in Gurnee and Branch Manager at CCU's Mundelein Service Center. As VP of Payments, she is responsible for coordinating all compliance and operational activities for Payments and CCU's Web and Mobile Channels. She is also charged with positioning the credit union as a leader in new-age payment solutions, such as Apple Pay and other new players in the market.

Dave Valentine has a Bachelor of Business Degree in Finance from Western Illinois University, and his Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. Dave joins Consumers Credit Union from Motorola Employees Credit Union (MECU), headquartered in Schaumburg, Illinois where he served as the Vice President of Business Development, his most recent role prior to joining the Consumers Credit Union Team. Dave new responsibilities as VP of Sales & Marketing includes the oversight of the Member-owned credit unions newly formulated Centralized Sales team in addition to the Marketing Department at CCU.
