Elgin Young Professionals organize 'Holiday Cash Mob'

Still have stockings to stuff or last minute gifts to grab? Then Elgin Young Professionals Network invites you to join its "Holiday Cash Mob" Wednesday, Dec. 10, from 4 to 9 p.m. at the Tinsel Pop-Up Shop, 13 Douglas Ave., second floor in downtown Elgin, located above the brand new Solo restaurant and wine bar.

This year's Tinsel Pop-Up Shop features multiple vendors and artisans offering handmade crafts and other holiday gift ideas and décor.

Cash Mobsters are asked to attend and spend at least $20 to support this local business. Soulful Sparrow, 10 Douglas Ave., and Elgin Knit Works, 8 Douglas Ave., will also be open across the street.

As an additional Christmas bonus, Solo restaurant and wine bar will offer an exclusive $15 holiday wine tasting as well as discounted appetizers to all participating EYPN Cash Mobsters from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

EYPN members organize these "Cash Mobs" throughout the year as a way to recognize and support the local businesses that help provide Elgin with its character and economic partnerships.

The "Holiday Cash Mob" is one of many holiday events that are part of the Elgin Home for the Holidays program, co-sponsored by EYPN and the Gail Borden Public Library. For more information about Elgin Home for the Holidays, visit www.ElginHomefortheHolidays.com.
