Fox Country Players to hold auditions for "A Night of Broadway"

Fox Country Players will hold auditions on Sunday, Nov. 16 from 2 to 4 p.m. and Monday, Nov. 17 from 7 to 9 p.m. for a special event called "A Night of Broadway."

Auditions will be held at the Yorkville Congregational United Church of Christ, 409 Center Parkway in the Countryside subdivision.

The auditions are being held to look for people of all ages who would like to perform a musical number from a Broadway musical.

Acts can be solos, duets, or groups and can perform vocal, instrumental or dance numbers.

Auditioners should bring music for the accompanist or a recording of the music.

There will be very limited rehearsals, so the time commitment will be minimal.

The performance (just one) will be Jan. 24 at the church. This is a fundraising event to benefit the Theatre Arts Academy that will be held in July. There will also be a silent auction. Anyone wishing to contribute items for the auction should contact foxcountryplayers@comcast.net.

Questions about auditions or the show should be directed to Patrick at (708) 822-3512.
