Octopi, FTC team 6007, had a successful second season of FIRST and advanced to two different state tournaments. They were on a finalist alliance at Indiana State and a semifinalist alliance at Illinois State, as well as winning the Inspire Award at one of their qualifiers.

Their first season included many triumphs as well, such as being on a finalist alliance at Indiana State and the winning alliance at Illinois State.

Octopi is working to set up another FTC team at their high school, as well as inspire other local students to form their own teams.
