McHenry's own Project Two performs Broadway favorites in Ringwood

Sit back and enjoy a summer evening of musical entertainment with Project Two from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, July 11, on the back patio of the Lost Valley Visitor Center in Glacial Park, Route 31 and Harts Road in Ringwood. Registration is not required.

Project Two is a local music group that specializes in the performance of Broadway musical songs with choreography and a live band. The group consists of more than 15 McHenry County residents, and is directed by Dylan Ladd. Dylan went to see his very first musical while in seventh grade and fell in love with musical theater. By high school he had established the Jersey Kids, an entirely student run music group dedicated to the sound of the Jersey Boys. Project Two is his second endeavor and is sure to please music lovers of all kinds.

Bring a picnic dinner or dessert and a lawn chair and enjoy our intimate outdoor setting under the branches of ancient oaks with stunning views of the outstretched valley. In the case of inclement weather, concerts will be moved indoors. No glass containers are allowed.

The site closes at 9 p.m.

Additional Free Friday Concerts will feature Diego Alonso Flamenco Ensemble on Aug. 1 and Cheryl Niemo and the Down Home Boys on Sept. 5. For information call Prairieview Education Center, (815) 479-5779 or visit MCCDistrict.org.
