Get tickets for St. Charles Garden Walk June 21

Take a glorious summer stroll through six lovely St. Charles gardens from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 21.

Sponsored by the Pottawatomie Garden Club of St. Charles, the gardens, all located on the east side of town, vary from a quaint cottage garden to an estate garden nestled in the woods.

Proceeds from the garden walk go to support the club's scholarship fund as well as other civic activities, including planting the flower boxes over the bridges in town.

Presale tickets are $15 each or 10 for $100. It will be $18 the day of the walk.

Tickets can be purchased by visiting the club's website at pottagardenclub.org, or at these locations in St. Charles: Blue Goose Market, 300 S. Second St.; Heinz Brothers Greenhouse Garden Center, 2010 E. Main St.; Wasco Nursery, 41W781 Route 64; Trellis Farm & Garden, 2N492 Kirk Road; or Shady Hill Gardens, 42W075 Route 38 in Elburn; Planter's Palette, 28W571 Roosevelt Road in Winfield; and We Grow Dreams, 1055 W. Washington St. in West Chicago.

Organized in 1928, the Pottawatomie Garden Club has 118 members, and usually meets at 11:30 a.m. the fourth Monday of every month in the lower level of the PNC Bank, 2600 E Main St., St. Charles. Visitors are welcome. For information on the club, visit pottagardenclub.org.
