Gear for Goals partners with Glenbrook North Jr. Spartan football program to host spring sports drive benefitting inner city kids.

Led by Gear for Goals' Executive Director Dr. Warren Bruhl, the G4G/Glenbrook North Jr. Spartan Spring Gear Drive will be held during the Junior Spartan spring clinics from March 31 through April 3 and April 7 through 10 from 7:00 - 8:30 pm at Glenbrook North High School's field house located at 2300 Shermer Northbrook, IL 60062. To participate, athletes of Junior Spartans and other friends of the community are invited to bring new and used sports gear and musical instruments to the Glenbrook North High School field house during the camp.

Donated items will bring sports, arts and hope to local underserved children who participate with the Police Athletic League of Chicago. The Police Athletic League is a non-profit program nationally recognized for providing coaching and mentoring to some of the most at risk children in the country. Gear for Goals is a proud supporter of the Police Athletic League in Chicago and is dedicated to helping children in the inner city who have little access to sports equipment and musical instruments. Children around the world are desperately in need of receiving sports gear and musical instruments to help fuel their dreams, hopes, and opportunities. You can make a difference! Donate to the G4G/Glenbrook North Spring Sports Gear Drive and help give them hope!

Suggested donation items include baseball gloves, helmets, balls, bats, soccer balls, basketballs, uniforms, nets, cones, cleats, shin guards, hockey sticks as well as jump ropes, hackey sacks and frisbees.
