Dundee Twp. Rotary Club offers scholarships

Since 1980, the Dundee Township Rotary Club has awarded over $715,000 in scholarships to area students who live in Dundee Township.

“The primary goals focus of our club's fundraising proceeds is to give back to local students and provide much needed scholarships,” said Dr. Melisa Rothenberger, scholarship committee chairman. “Last year we were proud to award $30,000 in scholarships to nineteen local students.”

High school seniors are encouraged to apply for a Dundee Township Rotary Club scholarship as soon as possible. Applications are available at Dundee-Crown High School-Carpentersville, Harry D. Jacobs High School-Algonquin, St. Edward Central Catholic High School-Elgin, Hampshire High School, Westminster Christian School- Elgin and Elgin Academy.

Deadline for all applications is Friday, Feb. 14, 2014.
