Learn to motivate your volunteers at McHenry workshop

Volunteer Center of McHenry County, 4508 Prime Parkway, McHenry will offer Volunteer Management Certificate Workshop, presented by Sophia de Vries and Susan McCoy.

It will address how to motivate and supervise volunteers along with other key volunteer management challenges. Registration is now open for the Jan. 16-17 workshop.

The Feb. 22 annual board member workshop with Dave Sternberg of Boardsource will present two same-day sessions: “Enough Already! The Board You Need Today” and “Butch and Sundance: The CEO and Board Working in Harmony!”

The Volunteer Center of McHenry County places individuals and groups of all ages with nonprofits and community groups that serve McHenry County. It effectively engages individuals and groups in volunteerism to help solve critical social problems.
