5 Shopping Days Left Until The Dec. 23 Deadling

DUPAGE COUNTY-The decorations are up, the stockings are hung and your shopping is done…or is it? The DuPage County Health Department is reminding residents that there are only 5 shopping days left to enroll in healthcare coverage by December 23 in order to begin receiving benefits starting Jan. 1.

There are two ways residents can enroll for health coverage this holiday season. First, if they're comfortable navigating the marketplace on their own (and online) they can visit www.getcoveredillinois.gov. If a resident wants some help in enrolling, they can call 888-724-0077 to schedule an appointment with an Enroll DuPage navigator. At their appointment, they'll receive in-person assistance in enrolling in the marketplace.

Enroll DuPage hours have been extended into the evenings and on Saturdays in order to accommodate more residents and get more people enrolled in time for the Dec. 23 deadline. By enrolling in healthcare coverage by Dec. 23, residents can start out 2014 on the right foot and look forward to a happy and healthy new year.
