Wauconda Twp. supervisor honor for work with seniors
Wauconda Township Supervisor Glenn Swanson has been recognized for his commitment to meeting the needs of seniors by the Illinois Township Association of Senior Citizens Services Committees, a news release stated. Swanson was named “Supervisor of the Year” for the township’s role in creating a senior advocate position, adding senior programs and the operation and expansion of the township senior transportation system. The award was presented during the recent a recent Township of Illinois Educational Conference in Springfield.
