Extreme Artistry Dancers Win Grand National Dance Competition

Extreme Artistry Dance Studio's first year was a great success. Dancers from age 5 to 18 competed this year at three competitions. Their Hip Hop Line received a double platinum and first place overall at a large regional competition in April. Their Senior Jazz group “Americano” received several awards throughout the season, but at Rainbow's National Competition in July, they received a Double Platinum, first place overall and won a chance to compete in the showdown where they won the Grand National Champion title.

Extreme Artistry Dance Studio offers classes in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Modern, and Tumbling for both recreational and competition dancers of all ages. They also offer a variety of pre-school age classes, as well as Parent/Tot classes.

This is a well-known dance studio where families from Antioch, Lindenhurst, and southern Wisconsin have been coming for many years, It began as Dance Academy of Antioch, and then operated as Triple Threat Dance Studio. Extreme Artistry Dance Studio is under new ownership that is committed to its students and has found a home at 77 McMillen Rd, Suite 107 in Antioch. They employ several dance teachers that dance for a variety of Professional Dance Companies including Chicago Tap Theatre, Elements Ballet Company and Drop Shift Dance, to name just a few. Fall Open House Registration is August 19 – 21 with classes beginning September 9, 2013.
