Auditions Open for Battle of the Bands
Auditions are taking place until Tuesday, July 9 for Battle of the Bands, sponsored by the Schaumburg Township District Library. Bands that are chosen for the battle will compete from 6-9 p.m., Tuesday, July 23 in Schaumburg's Town Square at the corner of Schaumburg and Roselle roads. In the event of rain, the competition will take place in the library's Audiovisual Theatre.
To be eligible to compete, band members must be 21 or younger and must be available at 5 p.m. on July 23 to set up their equipment. To audition, submit one MP3 song to stdlteens@gmail.com or submit a link to a Web site such as YouTube or Purevolume.
