Elgin Lions Learn about DayOneNetwork

At their meeting on May 7th, the Elgin Lions Club will hear from Stephen Taylor, the executive director of DayOneNetwork, The network is dedicated to helping families with children and adults who have developmental delays or disabilities. The goal of the organization is to connect people with the services and support that best meet their needs in Kane County, Kendal County, and Hanover Township of Cook County.

The club meets at the Elgin Holiday Inn at 6:15 on Tuesday, May 7th. The meeting is open to the public. Those wishing to attend are asked to notify club president Bill Klawitter at billklaw@comcast.net or the Elgin Lions Club's phone answering service at 847-289-4206 and leave a message. It is a meal meeting. The cost for the meal is $18, but attendees do not need to partake of the meal. When leaving the message, please indicate if a meal is desired. Advance notification is necessary to provide adequate seating and meals.
