Good Shepherd offers seminar on advance care planning

Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital’s Office for Mission and Spiritual Care will present “Supporting Each Other with Advance Care Planning” in the hospital’s Lakeview/Prairie Rooms on Route 22 near Lake Barrington Tuesday, April 16.

The program will help participants learn how to take action, raise awareness and remain in control of their care. Advance Care Planning includes help with crucial medical and health care decisions. This should not be thought of as “end of life planning,” it should be thought of as a healthy process all families should go through to plan for their future.

Breakfast and registration will run from 7:30 to 8 a.m. The event will start at 8 a.m. and go until noon. Lunch is provided as well. To register, call (800) 323-8622 and give code 3G77.
