Saint Viator Business Forum Meeting February 26th

Alumni of Saint Viator and Sacred Heart of Mary High schools, along with parents of past and current students, are invited to the February 26th meeting of the Saint Viator Business Forum. Addressing the attendees will be Nick Helmer, Chairman of Inland Great Lakes Real Estate. Helmer also serves as mayor in the city of Prospect Heights. There is no charge to attend the meeting, which begins at 6 p.m. on the 26th on the 3rd floor of the Arlington Heights school.

The Saint Viator Business Forum was formed a year ago to promote business discussions, facilitate networking and hiring, and to create a bond between business leaders and alumni and students of the school. Each month the group gathers for a formal discussion or social event.

Nick Helmer will bring his unique perspective that combines his successful career in commercial and residential real estate with his current role as the mayor of Prospect Heights. Helmer has been with what has become Inland Great Lakes since 1969. He has an extensive knowledge of real estate development, condominium conversions, and re-development of properties, as well as the relationship between developers and local municipalities. He will share his views on investment opportunities in real estate, the state of the real estate market for 2013, and will discuss some of the key issues facing local municipalities in today's challenging financial environment. Helmer was elected to his position in Prospect Heights in April 2011.

Helmer's presentation will begin at 6:15 and will be followed by both a Q&A and a networking session for those in attendance. All are welcome to attend. For more information about the Saint Viator Business Forum, or the February 26th meeting, contact Jim Murphy at 847-392-4050, ext 259.
